Where have I been? I’ve been deep underground writing a book on animals and grief. You know what that’s like – an animal friend you love and you wish would be with you forever, passes over. How do you get through this?

Blessings for Your Animals Day is October 4 (many celebrate October 2)
World-wide, twice a year, Animals are blessed in special celebrations. Guide your heart to focus on the blessing our animals are. Take a moment in your life, and with full awareness, share it with your animal. Include the animals with you in body and the ones in spirit. Let them know how much you love them with a special blessing.

“I give deep thanks for (each animal’s name). I take time this minute to remember that we live and work and love among the animals. I am inspired to be their friend, to listen to their wisdom and their humor, love them, to protect them from harm, and to thank them for each moment they share with me. Especially today, I ask blessings on (each animal’s name) who is the companion of my life. I pledge to care for them tenderly and faithfully, and to remember that we are not alone on the earth. I translate my outpouring of love and gratitude for (each animal’s name) into love and gratitude for all species.”
the Gulf Oil Spill & Using Our Own Energy to Help
Using Our Own Beautiful Energy on the Oil Spill
I, like many of you, want to positively effect the Gulf oil spill crisis, rather than be so angry at everyone involved. I, like many of you, know using united energetic efforts, along with other action, creates change. What follows is an action to gather with like-minded others, using the power of collective energy to move deep forces and shift the power of destruction. Guess what! You get a gift in return – your own personal energy will rise, along with the group energy.
This action is from Dr. Masaru Emoto, the scientist from Japan who is known for the research and publications about the characteristics of water and how water physically responds to emotions. Powerfully say the prayer that Dr Emoto has proposed.
I send the energy of love and gratitude to the water and all the living creatures in the Gulf of Mexico and its surroundings. To the whales, dolphins, pelicans, fish, shellfish, planktons, corals, algae and all living creatures…..I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.
Say it OFTEN! as often as you want.
I also connected telepathically with the animals affected by the spill. They hold us to live up to our best selves. This is part of the message I received to offer to you: “Rebalance yourself in your own life before you hope to help us in ours. That is the best way to love us. Clean yourself before you try to join us in what we are setting in store for the world, or you will pull us down. If not, you will see your own self in the image of the gull in oil. That will be you . . . We are here to create life that is fair for all who live here. The world is not only for your species’ rules alone.”
It’s a serious message, yet said with compassion and love. I believe they are asking: Can you take action first on what you need to do to re-center your Self in your truth, with love? By that, you will be freed up to really listen to the Animals and their Dreams for all.
take care, Christine
Winter Solstice
– a poem to light the Solstice with –
“To go in the dark with a light
is to know the light.
To know the dark, go dark.
Go without sight,
and find that the dark, too,
blooms and sings,
and is traveled by
dark feet and dark wings.”
-Wendell Berry from “To Know the Dark”
The Winter Solstice is a beautiful moment to connect quietly to the light and the dark within ourselves. Our animal companions love to do this with us often in a heart-to-heart connection. Take a moment in your life, and with full awareness, share it with your animal. Include the animals with you in body and the ones in spirit. Breathe in the beauty of life on all levels. With a trusting, open heart, receive the love your animal will exchange with you.
